Sky were after it a few times I seem to remember. If primetime get it they can kiss the UK market good bye robbing ****s. If Premier get it they will have to much conflict with the boxing fans already signed up who are with them just for boxing.

 Thankfully I've missed can't be as good as cage rage I remember they use to push cage rage to the moon when it was on I wasn't to interested in MMA then especially when the main event had Tank Abbot in it. It also had those two bald guys I couldn't stand.

Think scurla told me to look up Murray Vs Silva in it as that was a good fight still haven't got round to it:sad2

I wasn't watching MMA as much back then but I did like Cage Rage. I meant that awful 'Cage Fighter' news show they do. Its ****

The one they show, UCMMA is actually a very good wee promotion. So maybe Sky will pick up the UFC, I really hope so.

I'll be cancelling then in August. They only get a little bit of football. They have stopped showing MMA Live. They don't even show Friday Night Fights live anymore so its useless when its on a few days later. They show the Countdown late too.

No point keeping it after August if the UFC are jumping ship. Hopefully Sky pick it up.

Whoever picks it up can expect thousands of subs just for the UFC content. UFC has enough content to fill up an entire channel 24/7.

The UFC seem to care about their product. BN, Premier Sport and Primetimes lack of HD should be enough to ensure no long term deal. All of their poor marketing and production should serve to butcher the product. ESPN actually market the UFC on their websites, nationwide ads etc

    Its so ****ing annoying

I'll be keeping ESPN though, just for the American sports and the ESPN America news shows.

I like British sports too but I happen to like American ones as well :good

The sports I watch are mainly Boxing, Rugby, MMA, Basketball, Aussie Rules and American Football but I do also like football and tennis although not nearly as much. Of course I used to be big into football as a wee kid but I dunno, I just grew out of it.

  12. Damn, I was under the impression that poms cared more about fighting than that. Some great fighters come out of there

There is a market it for it but paying £15 to sit up until 3 am just for a card to start on a Sunday morning is pretty unappealing especially when everyone else wants to go out a drink

The UFC just made a deal with Fox. Fox is a major competitor of ABC. ABC owns ESPN. I'm sure that is why ESPN will no longer be broadcasting the fights.
