Lennox was asked about the AJ upset and stated AJ should hire Foreman, because Lewis would listen to George`s commentary on his own fights and would adapt and do what Foreman had stated to improve, does this surprise fans and should AJ hire Foreman or another trainer to replace McCraken?
That interview with him was pure shyte, terrible analysis..Blaming McCracken blatantly. So would he of left Manny Steward if he had gotten with him earlier ??? No...George Foreman would be a terrible decision for any Boxer to bring on board, ffs I can say what George says, most can see what he sees
Lennox Lewis is sincerely trying to help Anthony Joshua, he is correct the only way for Anthony Joshua to comeback is to take the George Foreman 2.0 safe path, rack up wins & wait for a stylistically vulnerable Title holder. Lennox Lewis bonus gift is that he is subjectively implying that Anthony Joshua & George Foreman are on the same level Anthony Joshua is a bully just like George Foreman, but that is where the comparison ends... George Foreman (old or young) sparks any version Mike Tyson Anthony Joshua gets his Children eaten by Mike Tyson...then in the rematch Mike Tyson proceeds to make Anthony Joshua love him...The benefit of the two theorized losses vs Mike Tyson is that Anthony Joshua goes home smiling & no one is confused why Joshua is so happy about losing twice to 5'10" Mike Tyson
Learned from George how to cook beef on his grill. Lol Lennox would be a better trainer for Joshua than Foreman. I get the impression Lennox wants to see Joshua KOed trying to imitate George's style, he don't have the punch resistance for it!
McCrackens advice was shocking. Aj in the 4-6th was clearly dazed/gassed. Yet he was imploring him to to throw more, get a lot busier. He was gassed, therefore slower, and would get caught in the cross fire of any exchange. The advice from about round 5 should have been get on your bike, spoil, hold, make it messy, forget your rude boi image with the casuals. Get your feet under you, mix it up with the odd jab, lean, hold and keep distance. Get to round 9 then re-evaluate. Joshua could have had his legs back and kept the belts
Imagine Joshua coming forward like a mummy with George’s weird horizontal arm defence. He would get battered
Old Foreman would have been completely outboxed by Ruiz who is faster and more skilled than Morrison was.
Well McCraken did say use straight punches, however, AJ asked him what should I do and McCraken reated this then all of a sudden said throw the uppercut as some vague instruction while AJ was in bad trouble, he was still telling him to win rounds without saying why he was wide open after throwing punches, nor did he address the body shots that were killing AJ.
