La Chaîne L'Équipe: Estelle Mossely-Yoka vs. Lucy Wildheart & Yannick Dehez vs. Bibi Ondoua RBR

Super cringe interview between some Brigitte Bardot lookalike and Wildheart. The former barely speaks any English and keeps awkwardly humming or singing "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"...and the latter seems to barely understand her through her thick French accent, nor does she very much seem in the mood for this.

"How will you deal with fighting here, in France, as the outside person from not France?"

"... I don't care. My mom, and some other people came. They'll be cheering for me. So. Yeah. I don't care..."

"What you know about Estelle? Your opponent? You see her, you think she is good?"

"I mean. She was in the Olympics...so. Yeah. I want to fight her, I want to beat her. It'll be...good."

"Who is favorite?"

"Me. I am favorite."

"Okay. Will you sing a small amount for me? Lucy in the sky with diamonds? Please?"

"Um, okay. Lucy in the sky..."

"with diamonds! Merci! "

Aboulaye Diane vs. Predrag Jevtic, 4 rounds @ cruiserweight

Really have no patience for this. Was planning my evening around the main event starting about half an hour ago.

Diane started loading up on body shots in the final minute, appeared to have Jevtic ready to fold, but then started huffing & puffing and let him off the hook.

 

Again the Serb is hurt with body shots; again the Senegalese-French hulking southpaw left him off the hook.

Estelle Mossely-Yoka vs. Lucy Wildheart, 10x2" rounds @ lightweight

 

Anthems.

 

Wildheart is throwing away jabs up top, and then driving hard rights into the belly. Mossely Yoka is turning her and countering up top with the 1-2, quicker of hand & foot and more fluid with her movement.

Mossely Yoka should be up on the cards after 4. (I was in & out, bad WiFi)

 

Wildheart clapping the right hand up & over, laying the underside of her forearm against Mossely Yoka's closely-braided scalp. Mossely Yoka is needling her in the face with counter jabs and occasionally sashaying to her left quickly enough to get in position for a check hook just above the chin as Wildheart is diving at her.

Mossely Yoka is feeling her oats now! Opening up on Wildheart, big right hands over the top behind the stiff jab, thrown like a professional gambler pulling the lever on a slot machine over & over, with a seamless retraction and thrown again in one smooth motion. Sloppy body shots by Wildheart falling in, getting lit up.

10-9 Mossely Yoka, dominant, clearest round yet.

 

Wildheart second-guessing her own every move now, getting banged around with counters from multiple directions every time she steps forward, Mossely Yoka letting both hands go while jogging nonstop in diagonals to give herself room to work. A few lunging overhands by Wildheart, but greatly reduced effort offensively, no longer the one pressing forward bell to bell.
