Noone disputes Canelo was the A+ side and the actual ppv attraction.

I only mentioned the 650k in reply to your butt buddy @Kush because according to the same source that claimed GGG/Lemieux sold 97k, Cotto/Canelo sold 650k.

I don't give a flying **** about any of the ppv numbers. I was giving your buddy kush some of his own medicine.

I realize exactly how much it is. I also realize that the timing of this fight couldn't have been worse. Are you confidently saying that you believe this fight benefited from a year of marination And being totally eclipsed In the process

    100% I believe that.

Canelo had just sold 900K with Cotto the third biggest draw in boxing, GGG had a mere 800K viewers on free HBO vs Brook.

1.5 years later Canelo sold 1 million against non-ppv fighter Chavez, and Golovkin sold 170K against Jacobs.. Do the math.

Sure.. And by your estimation what would you guess the ppv numbers would have been last year had it happened when the boxing world were demanding it and without a competing event which ended up being nearly 4x the draw.

Understood. I'm only asking your estimation. You seem to imply that the year of marination offset the fight being in direct competition with Mayweather vs McGregor.

Just days ago, G fans were happy and credited G for the reason why the fight sold 2 million. Here we are with real figures and of course it makes sense.

G's not a draw. At best and this is being nice because you know numbers are rounded up, he contributed to 300k.
