It's confirmed: Kosovo's Labinot Xhoxhaj (21-0-1, 16 KOs) will defend his European Heavyweight title (EBU belt) on February 14th against Sweden's Pezhman Seifkhani (17-1-0, 12 KOs) in Germany. The Swedish filmed himself signing the contract. Negotiations were initially held for the fight to take place in Örebro, Sweden, but the Germans didn't let that happen and, of course, offered more money.
Wish it were a better opponent, but Xhoxhaj's fights are WILD. Multiple knockdowns...guys flying over the ropes wild. And I don't know how big Pezhman is, but Labinot's been fighting guys 8-9 inches taller than he is. Do yourself a favor and watch this next fight!
On DAZN starting now. https://boxrec.com/en/event/935312 Amateur fight on now. Anybody else going to be watching?
Watching right now. No clue as to who's fighting since it's all in Deutsch .... and for the $225/year I pay them good ol' DAZN doesn't do chyrons or the like .... and I couldn't find a useful source for the undercard .... but they seem to be CWs whoever they are.... .... and it's already over. So... never mind...
Normally he should outboxed him or even get a TKO win in late rounds, Peizhman's hand are pretty fast but his jab and defense is pretty bad normally Xhoxhaj is on another level. Specially in mid distance or in hand to hand with his left hook and his hanging.
Xhoxhaj would make short work of Charr or Hammer, and he might do well against most of the current top 25 heavyweights. I like the way he puts his punches together when he goes for the KO.
