Lack of footwork is why Clottey don't compare to Mayweather

The win over Clottey was impressive to me even though many won't agree.

He didn't get a knockout, but he fought smart and did what he needed to do to win. I thought his strategy to just flat out work Clottey and force him to just stay in his shell was a clever game plan. If the knockout comes it does if it doesn't it doesn't.

That being said, Clottey is a stationary target. Though he has a strong shell defense, he isn't elusive. Pacman was doing the same routine over and over again. His movement can be timed and can be counter'd with footwork. I also think Mayweather would be able to bait Pacman into many hard clean shots. Catching him right before he looks to start a combo.

I loved that side step that Pacman did though when Clottey was against ropes. He Pacman threw a faint and then did some type of moon walk **** to the side of Clottey ending up by his left ear that **** was slick. The RD ended though so he didn't really get to do anything with it.

they're uncomparable. theres so much difference between the two of them in class and styles that i'm not even going to bother writing them all down.
