A fight with Taylor is very likely.

 

First off, great avatar man.

Second, it looks like it's going to be Taylor coming up here. For Jeff's sake, I hope that shoulder is a heck of alot healthier and that he's better now than he was for Manfredo.

 

Yeah, I'm worried about Lacy. Mendoza has a good right hand, so hopefully Lacy won't overlook him.

I'd just hate to see Jeff become an opponent. He was too good for that. Hopefully, he'll get at least one more big payday and, if it doesn't work out, he can have some money saved and move on with his life.

 

Of the names mentioned, I could see him face Kessler. Otherwise Lacy-Taylor seems valid, if both gets past Mendoza/Froch.

Same here. Jeff's a classy dude, and I don't want to see him continuing to get in there as just another gatekeeper. How he looks vs Mendoza will go a long way towards my opinion on him still fighting. He's had enough time to heal if the shoulder's gonna heal, and he'd still be a top 10 SMW if he looks good in winning this next fight. It'd be nice to see him rise up for one last run at a title after that many people have given up on him, but that may be wishful thinking on my part.

 

Just taking time off, likely due to the shoulder he messed up fighting Vitali Tsypko. He didn't look nearly the same when he fought Manfredo, so I don't think it was as ready to go as they thought it was.
