Nah nah nah . . . Mendoza hurt Lacy more than 3 times in that fight but the most that could happen is a draw. I had it 5 rounds each.

Should have had a point deducted for the tackle, he was in big trouble, but i scored it a draw.

 

I'm curious, what rnds did you gusy give lacy and what rnds to mendoza?

 

Lacy is not over rated, the divison is just that good right now. it was a close fight I had it a draw, Sure Lacy was hurt in the fight, and visablly hurt more, but Mendoza was also hurt as well, and I remember a left hook right hand from lacy that sent Mendoza into the ropes that held him up which could have been called a Knock Down.
Either way I also agree with Jeff regarding doing what he had to do to win the fight, and the man did have plenty of rounds to get him out of there he failed in doing so, when it goes to the judges anything can happen there was a mexican fighter that fought on the card that can verify that.
Either way it was a great fight IMO, and no Jeff Lacy does not suck, he looked like he was going to lose in spots but Mendoza also is a good fighter.

I though jeff looked real good in the first 4 round bloodworth defiantly has him doing different thing , like being a little more accurate with his punches , moving his head a little better still caught allot of shots .

now for the bad part Jeff gassed himself out trying to take the guy out with one punch and he has lost some resistance in his chin or it could be lack of conditioning on his part which maybe why the fight fought at 172 instead of 168 . Hopefully he will get condition on track in the future .

 

Mendoza won on my card, the scores were a total disgrace.

 

I didn't score it but it was very close.

Atlas' scorecards are usually pretty good, he had it a draw and that seems resonable to me.

Either way Lacey loses in the end, he is done.

 

Atlas's card was a joke, he scored an even round and a 10-8 round where there was not a knockdown, and in the 2nd I could see 10-8 if Lacy didn't come back to hurt Mendoza after being hurt himself, I see the round for Mendoza.. but 10-8 is a joke.
