    this shows how bad a judge of boxer the USA media/public are that this stiff was made up as a world beater, just like Mayweather will be exposed in 30 minutes!

    I don't like Mayweather but lets not try to compare him to Lacy.

    Mayweather has at least warranted his hype.

    It shows how pathetic Calzaghe has been with the oppenents he chooses, I can't believe he wasted time fighting these guys.

    Lacy is done, IMO, he is not the same fighter he was when he fought for the title against Vanderpool, he made me a fan after that fight....im saddened to see him perform at this level

    Truth can be found in your post,db!

    Lacy is a decent fighter,but nothing special at all.Nevertheless a lot of American posters,experts,and fights fans considered him to be the next great champ a couple of months ago.
    Lacy 's biggest weapon has always been his passport.He was stopped and schooled in his last amateur fight by Gaidarbekov,tought a lesson by Calzaghe,and got a gift decision against Tsypko.
    However,he has an American passport.Otherwise he would be out of the game at this point of his career.
    At times a piece of paper called American passport makes all the difference!
