You're shifting the goalposts it seems to me.

First it was all about not grassing cos of some criminal 'code' or 'honour amongst thieves', now it's all about the poor sentencing...

So are we to assume that if the sentencing was stricter you'd be okay with the police dealing with it? Or are you just anti-police?

 

personally i am anti police, i am lucky i own my own business, never been in trouble with them, but i know genuinely good people fitted up by them and jailed. If people dont think that's widespread their deluded. But even if crolla is not anti police he will still not get proper justice through them. so either way them and the courts are not going to do justice to the situation, and any one mentioning suing the lad obviously dont know how expensive that is, no doubt beyond the type of money Crolla has. So should he spend all his money get in huge debt to get a tenner or so a week? That would make Crolla an even bigger victim than he is now

No system's perfect. Most police bashers are the first to call them when they need 'em. (Not saying this applies to you).

 

I agree there a necessary evil in some form, though need radicalised to weed out brutality and corruption. For example people that attack old people, rapists, peados, murder kids and woman need the police. But an athletic boxer does not, especially was so likable as Crolla

If you're an average citizen, and you fall victim to crime, there isn't a choice of half a dozen agencies to turn to.
The police are pretty much the only game in town.
People turning to them is therefore NOT necessarily a ringing endorsement of the cops, in fairness.
In many ways the police are now part of the problem, not as they ought to be, part of the solution. Cha-chiiiinggg....££££ $$$$ €€€

God forbid someone is ever the victim of a Arrhenius crime in your family, as you would be the sort no doubt ton be completely happy with clapping as they got sent down thinking that is justice. Well i wouldn't think 3 square meals, free education a tv, sky sports and the xbox to play on is justice, and that's were we differ. I know a ***** who once came home early from a night out to find the male babysitter interfering with his 3 year old daughter, and held him there till the police came. That beast got sentenced to 2 years for his unthinkable crime, done half of that. Is that justice? Is the poor girls dad a good dad? No that tells me he is not. Now i am not a naturally violent man, have never been in trouble with the police but if that was my daughter the **** would have gone to the morgue not a cell. Would that make me a bad man or dad? In my opinion NO.

because you think that the police/courts should carry out all punishments, and i am showing one of many examples i personally now of were scum dont get punished of the authorities. As a man if i was murdered would my family have and close friends have justice as someone if convicted would on average be out inside 10 years from the cushy jail systems? Now remember around half of people who murder someone get charges reduced to manslaughter or culpiible homicide and get a fraction of the sentence. Its a myth people who attack and kill someone as standard get life sentances, and even then ou can get a life sentance with a recommendation of say 7 years. Its a joke

 

Understand your frustration and it IS a joke, but I still think Ant Crolla should've not got involved and called the police. He has so much more to lose than those idiots on the rob.
