I think he is and if he's not he certainly will be when he puts Chisora to the sword. Haye right now is on a whole other level above Vitali from a technically point of view. Klitschko can only dream about having Haye's footwork and head movement (ATG elusiveness) that bamboozes opponents.

Haye has the better cv in recent years. Here is their combined top 5 best wins in order.

    1. Valuev (beat Holyfied. World champ)
    2. Ruiz (beat Holyfied. World champ)
    3. Peter (fat plodder)
    4. Mormeck (unified World champ)
    5. Chisora

    Ruiz isn't better than Peter.

Can't really be bothered to compare there records but Vitali has to be seen as number 2 until he retires or gets beat.

    No....

He should be ranked as Number 3, but there are allot of guys who could be number 3. Why do you try so hard to make the heavyweight division sound easy? It's still the toughest division on the planet, and fair enough there's not many exciting fighters. But in my opinion, it's the toughest division on the planet still technically.

Nobody in the welterweight division, unless their on steriods can ****ing knock anyone out. Look at the state of Manny PAC these days, look at how many power shots Mayweather landed on Cotto. Elite level at welterweight is ****..

For the fact that the heavyweights are the hardest hitting guys on planet, still makes it the most ruthless division.

People wank over David Price, but if his last 5 fights where..

    Monte Barrett
    Nikola Valuev
    John Ruiz
    Audley Harrison
    Wladimir Kiltschko

People would be wanking even more.

I hope David Haye, sparks out David Price.

Lets compare a former cruiserweight champion who promised to be the saviour of the heavyweight division to a prospect.

you think the HW division is the toughest division pk? for what reason

I'd say super middle is pretty tough myself, so many 50-50 fights. I don't think its about who has knockout power at all.

Don't disagree that the HW division has the hardest hitting punchers, but no way is it the toughest divsion on the planet. Most of the guys are out of shape and rushed to the top with few fights and questionable records becuase of the lack of depth in the division.

Try any thing from Fly to Welter if your'e looking for competative quality schooled fighters which make the division competative and "tough". The international competion is fierce in the lower weight divisions just due to sheer weight of numbers alone. How many races and countries produce guys big enough to fight at HW?

Except for a few standouts HW boxing is dull, always has been and always will be.

David Price will knock Tyson Fury out inside 5 rounds. Tyson Fury is an overrated/overhyped buck of **** that will win nothing.

Haye needs to fight instead of running his mouth about how great he allegedly is.

He is top 5, but until you beat either Klitschko you can't be ranked above them, simple as that.

Also Hayes record at heavy is shite especially for a fighter who is the greatest fighter of all time in some people's eyes.

Barrett was 3-3 coming into the fight and then got blown out in 2 in his next fight off Solis. Ruiz had 1 fight in about 18 months and was about 9million years old. The Valuev fight, Haye threw around 20 punches per round. Harrison is wank and he ran away from the main man in Wlad.

Not much substance in Hayes heavy record.
