wlad threw everything but the kitchen sink at brewster who took it all waiting for that one opportunity. in round 5 it came via a left hook to wlads body.

that punch won the fight for lamont as it emptied wlad's tank, and left him open to attack. like a warrior brewster swung for the fences and got the job done.

superb victory, hard to believe it's 8 years ago this happened. in that time wlad has turned from a joke being begged to retire into a dominant all time great champion. kudos to the man because after this fight a lot of people wrote him off.

 

Wlad was so dumb in this fight, hes completely GASSES in the 5th, stumbling and can't keep his hands up yet uses all of his energy to throw hard 1-2 combos like an idiot.

I was jumping out of my seat when Brewster tagged him with that left. I wish that standing 8 wouldn't have been called so Brewster could have tee'd off on Wlad in the ropes and got a highlight reel KO

 

how does that relate to this thread? and denigrating mccall as merely a crackhead is a bit disrespectful. that man was a champion and played a large part in the 90's era.

Still don't know why people talk **** about Wlads chin. Wlad gassed bad and was getting lit up by Brewster who could really punch. Wlad ate some serious shots and stayed awake.... Just saying.
