Wonder how Haye will do if Brewster lands though Brewster can really hit. That being said Haye took good shots against a prime Wladimir Kiltschko.
Rewatching the Haye-Chisora bout got me thinking of this fight. I can see some parallels for how that fight would emulate this fantasy fight, but then again I think that Brewster hit much harder than Chisora, had slightly faster hands, and definitely had a better chin. Imho a prime Brewster has a much better shot at beating Haye than Chisora did in their fight. A real 50-50 type fight in my book anyway.
Agreed. I think he can take what Haye can dish out. The Etienne fight was a bit of a fluke and Brewster had not peaked yet. Prime Brewster turned out to have a great chin.
Brewster had a serious chin. Wlad landed some absolute missiles on him and he stayed up most of the time. I can envision a scenario where Brewster survives an early onslaught and comes back to catch Haye mid rounds or late and finishes him.
Brewster does not have the footspeed for this guy. Haye is not going to be there to exchange. He will punch and move. Decision bout because the Hayemaker just won't be taking any chances with this guy. Just lots of lateral movement & throw just 1 or 2 punches and move. And those flashy shots of his the judges just love. Shame that Brewster always had that real bad knee. Put a knee like that on some other heavies and their results would never be as good.
I think Brewster catches Haye with a big left hook and finishes him off late. But Haye was an amazing athlete and if he can avoid the power, he could win a decision. 60-40 fight in favour of Brewster.
