    You mean the prime Wilder that got rocked, dropped and almost stopped by Sconiers and Nichols, or the one that got buzzed, shook and nearly ko'd by Molina a 2x ko1 victim? Brewster Ko1

    They are just dimissing Wilder by overrating the sorry class of boxers from the 2000's because the Klitschkos and Povetkin beat them. Guys like Byrd, Brewster, Chambers, Johnson and all those guys were pretenders.

    No. The jury is still out on him. but you can't call him a pretender till someone beats him, or at least gives him a run for it. He's won all his fights decisively despite what people say. His opposition hasn't been stellar which is the reason the jury is out on him, but you can't call an unbeaten fighter who no one has really come close to beating a pretender.
