Lamon Brewster vs Samuel Peter who was the best ?

Up for grabs for me. Two comparably sized heavyweights who had a lot of punching power with average defense and very tough. Probably be a crowd pleaser

 

I actually think Brewster was significantly better.

 

Brewster ran so hot and cold, even during his prime run while Peter just followed a natural arc of a powerpuncher who fell in love with his power and never learned a Plan B. I have to lean toward Peter just because there were fights during his prime where Brewster just did not show up.

 

Not hard to say at all. Brewster was better than Peter its as clear as day, and he would obliterate him H2H.

Peter did nothing good. Brewster arguably had a great left hook , he could swing it to body and head and punched with savage underrated power.

They say WK has a great left hook. Well he had a left hook battle with Brewster and didn't last more than 5 rounds.

I can't imagine the CTE in this matchup.

 

Brewster was not good under pressure. If Peter could take his punch, then it could look similar to Etienne fight for Brewster - and prime Peter had a proper chin on him.
