Wlad wasn't better at 41 than he was at 28.

I’m a huge Wlad fan and never liked Brewster at all… but 41 year old Wlad from the Joshua fight probably gets stopped later rounds. Don’t feel he’d punch himself out, because he was in tremendous shape. But Wlad was 41 and coming off an almost two year layoff.

And the offensive onslaught Wlad put on Brewster was awesome. No way he was gonna do that at 41. So… Brewster eventually catches a tired Wlad after getting beat and picked apart for 9-10 rounds. But he wouldn’t have to endure quite the horrific beating he did in 2004.

Now the Wladimir from the Chagaev fight… stops ANY version of Brewster. And brutally. That was prime Wlad

 

Of course Brewster wins. Even back then Wladimir was training under Stewart there is no way 41 year old Wlad beats 28yr Wlad
