Cayo might not be at the A level but I actually think he is/was a solid fighter who could have made a decent name for himself. I am just wondering if Lamont was juiced up in their fight and about the damage he inflicted on Cayo. I don't know how many of you saw the Cayo/Nate fight but Cayo didnt look like his old self. What are your thoughts ?
I agree with this. He may never rebound from the rough patch he's been going through in and out of the ring in any significant way as a fighter but I certainly wish him well.
cayo is really awkward but he honestly cant win fights past a certain level of opponent. marcos maidana destroyed him. who knows if peterson was using roids when they fought, either way I think it's purely academic. peterson had the tools to defeat him I feel like.
Every win that Peterson has after Bradley should be questioned. If Margarito is held questionable for the 'loaded' gloves issue, Peterson should be held to the same standard.
But Peterson is American. you forget that even with proof we do not persecute American fighters like we do foreigners. examples: Roy Jones. toney. mosley and now Peterson. hell anyone who is not American and gets accused of cheating is automatically getting a tarnished legacy. Unless you are American!!!
Cayo impressed me in the Peterson fight. I didn't see the fight with Nate, but I hope he can get back on track because he has a pleasant style and some solid skills. He looked much better against Lamont than he did against Maidana.
I thought so at one point he seemed to be decent, but since then he has lost to Peterson, Maidana, ( Which is reasonable for a b level guy ) but then the past prime none world class currently Nate Campbell, So no, Not A or B level, More like C.
