Without the headlocking, pushing and pushing head down Khan would've been KOed. The fight was close and could have gone either way but mainly bc of Khan's foul kept him alive.

:deal that was an absolute necessity for him to survive. He couldn't deal with the heat Peterson brought down on his ass

Khan will have not developed an inside game by the time the rematch happens and probably never will. Expect more of the same running, pushing, trying to put Peterson in headlocks, and looking scared from Khan. Peterson will know what to do from the opening round this time.

Bull****, Lamont was making it an inside fight, he wasn't leading with the head or just burying his head in his chest, I know of several times Khan either pushed with his forearms or headlocked or put Lamont in a mui tai clinch well before Lamont even got all the way on the inside...

Watch the fight again Khan continuously fouled because he can't fight inside, from the holding, headlocks, MMA clinches, pushes and overly retreating, he brought this on himself, pushing, excessive holding, headlocks and excessive neck clinching are all illegal, Khan was rewarded with a knockdown that was a trip, Lamont benefitted from two point deductions, with all this I did have Khan winning 113-112, but Lamont winning didn't surprise me, Khan fight like a *****...

It doesnt matter what either of them say cuz its happening again.

But as far as im concerned there was so many ifs, buts and other little drama to make me stop watching the boxing side of it and revert to the fight, 2 men fighting and as far as im concerned neither got much the better of either, it was a very close fight, and as it was scored a very close boxing match i couldnt complain too much about anything as my own eyes told me it was close.

And im a Khan fan. That may make little sense but its Friday im a bit drunk and already stoned so what ever, it makes sense to me. At the end of the day Khan admits he really needs to up his game so that tells me enough to know it was never no robbery.

I was rooting for Khan, but he lost fair and square. I have no issue with the points deductions, and was dissapointed with some of Khan's tactics. The second fight will be just as close and just as debatable.

    Im glad someone recognized this..

It kept Lamont off him.. Lamont was wearing Kahn like a cheep suit against the ropes...

Heat isnt the word.. Peterson was bludgoned his ass against the ropes.. you saw the same thing happen to Khan in the Maidana fight.. when Maidana traped him against the ropes Kahn was getting murdered.. His shoe shine and get away Defence + the ref breaking the inside clinches is the only things that saved him that night...

Yeah as long as Peterson Drains the tank with body work like he did in the first fight Kahn will be reduced to a shoe shine runner who fights in spots.. he has no knowledge of how to keep Pressure fighters off of him that can take his power....

I can see Kahn getting knocked down in this next one he may be clever enough to survive but.. dude need to learn some pocket Defence...

I am a huge Khan fan, and think he won the fight by a small margin, however the fact that i am saying he only just won it means it was very very close, so i cant stand when people say he was robbed.

He was warned about the pushing off various times so should have adapted his style. And the Knockdown... Yes i agree it was a knockdown but knockdowns are often wrongly not scored so i have let that one go.

In the rematch Khan needs to stay on the outside and jab, and pitty pat combo his way to victory. He could make it sooo easy for himself, yet he was too easily dragged into a war.

    Khan UD this time.

All the crying, but no one says anything about the bogus knockdown ruled in Khan's favor? LOL.

Khan will be in rough again.

I ****ing hope so and i hope Peterson gets the plaudits he so deserved the first time round. Khan's behaviour post fight was disgraceful and was embarrassing, im actually suprised he still has the amount of fans he has.
