so assuming peterson or khan was detected using these other illegal substances that is not detected by the standard commission test, so what would stop the commisison or the IBF from overturning these findings by their own doctor just like what they did in peterson's case?

You already know the answer. The ibf can do whatever the hell they want with their belt. Now if someone is caught using a banned substance and doesnt have the proof of undergoing a medical treatment by a doctor and the ibf decides to overlook the findings, then id have a problem with that. But in this case, no, if the sanctioning bodies allow it, then it isnt cheating.

The wba is telling the truth but the ibf isn't? Sounds like people only believe the media when it's something they want to hear.

And who was buying Peterson's fights before? Seriously, gtfoh lol.

All things being equal if the media always told us the truth (which they don't) and Peterson really did take illegal enhancers, then ban his ass.

It's wierd because usually enhancers make you faster, stronger, or give you more stamina/ endurance. Peterson had none of those advatages when he barely beat Khan lol. As a matter of fact he was about to lose, before Khan cost himself the fight by excessively pushing off like an amatuer.

so basically, you agree that this extra testing by the independent testing organizations doesn't hold much teeth and is basically useless since the sanctioning bodies like the IBF has the final say.

peterson could always find a doctor that would agree with his story and in this case, it was his TRT doctor. so you are saying that anyone could fight as a boxer even under Testorone therapy as long as you have your TRT doctor's concent. in the first place, if peterson has this medical issues, he should be recuperating and not competing.

I'm glad khan got his ass whipped but I can't defend Lamont Peterson. He's a drug cheat who should be banned. Period

IBF only have a say where their belt is concerned. I have seen them let Judah keep his title when he lost int he ring so this is really nothign new.

Peterson has still failed the test and the rematch was cancelled due to this.

He admitted to taking them for the Khan fight. His ratio was just below allowed level so he passed.

If VADA didn't do the CIR test he would've passed.

He intentionally didn't divulge this information to VADA, it's pretty obvious he attempted to cover up what he did. If CIR test wasn't performed he would've gotten away with it, because he would've been under the allowed ratio.

seems now we have to set up another commission to vote on whether a positive drug test is
    a) contaminated
    b) a low testosterone patient
    c) unknown reason the test is just wrong
    d) guilty as charged

Peterson testing positive resulted in cancellation of the fight so no, extra testing is not completely useless. You think a doctor is willing to lie for an athlete who was just caught using ped's and will claim he treated the patient and testify to that? Are you ******ed? I dont know what the different sanctioning bodies allow but the IBF's decision to allow Peterson keep his belt reflects that if you are diagnosed by a doctor and are treated, this is completely acceptable. Untill this treatment is banned, Peterson did nothing illegal. No suspension or ban is warra nted
