Khan took all of Peterson's punches and showed no signs of being stunned or hurt. Meanwhile, Peterson was stunned from two consecutive left hooks from Khan in the first round and was seriously hurt in the 9th, his eye was swollen shut, and came out worse for wear in the end. Meanwhile Khan threw and landed more punches, yet was penalized for trying to create space between himself and Peterson. No warning from the ref for Peterson's constant head diving into Khan's chest. Yet, despite all the negatives, there was a clear winner last night despite what the scorecards says....the vast majority of the boxing media had Khan winning, and Peterson's team know damn well the only reason they walked away with the titles is because of the point deductions.

no way the body shots bothered him and some uppercuts and left hooks knocked his head around

    Agreed.

Although Khan did some some very good work at times in the 2nd half, even some body work of his own, it seemed he was content for the most part to pitter patter to keep Peterson away. ALOT of those shouldn't have scored as many landed on Peterson's guard.

All that being said, I had it a draw....not counting the deductions and the bogus KD.

Obviously a close fight, I expected Khan to get the decision, being the meal ticket and HBO fighter, with the outrage coming from people saying Peterson was robbed.

In the 11th round Lamont hit Khan with a left to the body that hurt him so bad it made him completely disengage and walk back to the ropes.

I saw Khan 115-110 even with the points deducted. Peterson was coming forward and brawling, but nothing like the 3rd, 4th, and 7th round in which he was doing a lot of damage to Khan's body. Not saying he did nothing in the final rounds, but to me Khan won all of them (9-12). On my perception Peterson was just coming forward, while Khan was landing the punches (slap or not), whenever Peterson landed punches it seemed like everyone forgot what Khan had done in the round.
