I know how he gets tagged often with right hands and mesquita has good punching power. watch mesquita will tag him with a right hand and peterson will go to sleep.
Lamont will get KO'd tonight..........if he accidentally runs into the turnbuckle like Hatton.:rofl :rofl He wil KO this guy in 4 or 5. Walk in central park.
I initially thought the same thing as you, until I did a little research and found out about Peterson's amateur pedigree. Just watching him, I've never been that impressed. But now I think that the kid will get better as he has more pro fights, and is forced to perform at a higher level against better opponents. Maybe I've never been that impressed so far, because Lamont hasn't had to show much respect for an opponent yet and could afford to be a little careless. L. Peterson UD10 Mesquita
The guy Lamont is fighting is not even a big puncher if you look at who he fought and couldn't stop. His KO over Pakau wasn't impressive either. He's crude, old, and very average. I think it will most likely be Lamont who gets a late KO victory tonight, not Anthony. Ironically, Lamont is a tiny bit underrated as a puncher and Anthony, the one who's hyped as a big puncher has very overrated power.
Hmm, seems like that prediction didn't work out too well, eh?? www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=272077&cat=boxer
Lamont is a really nice boxer. His brother looks more impressive physically but Lamont is really a solid, well schooled fighter. Personally I don't think either guy is particularly special, but they can be belt holders and tough contenders. - Jason
:good Nail -> head. Anthony's physique and style make him a better "tv" fighter but you'd have to be insane to pick him over his brother (either h2h, or against elite comp)
