There. I said it. We all know the King Khan won the fight. He should take his loss like a man, give Amir his belts back, and explain to the IBF and WBA that Khan deserves the victory. I jest of course. Sorry to go over what is now old ground, but i just read this article by Jeff Powell in the Daily Mail, where he says, and i quote (copy and paste): It just dumbfounded me. Lamont opposed the reversal of the decision, EVEN THOUGH Khan promised to give him a rematch. Wow. So generous. Who the **** does Powell think he is? Does he think that Peterson should just give Khan the victory because he is the big name? Ridiculous. Or maybe i am reading too much into it...
Schaefer is quoted on the BBC declaring pushing isn't a foul. It's boring now, Khan needs to shut up, the British press need to accept that Khan lost a close one and Schaefer needs to **** off into next week.
I'd love it if they overturned the decision then Khan said he didn't want a rematch. I'd be straight over to the general.
Starting to feel this way about most the main stream coverage of boxing (BBC, Sky, and the newspapers) they all seem ****ing clueless
