Pacquiao had his chance and ducked to fight Clottey.

I believe I said this about 4 years ago, and quite a few people called me an absolute idiot for even suggesting Lamont was in Floyd's league. :patsch

also said Cory Spinks would give Floyd all kinds of trouble

People never seem to realize styles make fights, one mans poison is another mans meat.

So... can we add Lamont Peterson to the list of prime ATG's that Floyd "ducked" or what?!?! Sweet. I love doing that.

Yeah, I always said prime Cory gave Floyd a headache.

Emphasis on prime. Once Cory's legs went (circa the Verno Philips loss, where he actually fought outside his skin and brawled and IMO did surprisingly well and got robbed) he tried admirably but simply couldn't hack it anymore at the elite level - much like Calderón. Floyd's legs have started to go just like theirs did but he is able to find ways to still be successful (and his legs are deteriorating more gradually, since he is such a phenomenal athlete and gym rat...not to say Calderón or Spinks were slouches but Floyd is a freak)

What makes you people think Peterson can trouble Floyd? He can't outbox him.

In the first couple of rounds, Peterson was making Garcia miss, but he wasn't making him pay. Floyd makes you miss, AND makes you pay.

First of all Peterson WAS a 140 champ...and that's last of all too actually

I guess everyone forgets about Peterson getting thoroughly out boxed by Bradley. Peterson's a good fighter, but he would lose decisively to Mayweather.
