Inoue's skills are light years ahead of Davis. Inoue is going to lose some speed and power moving up, but he can potentially beat Davis just on skills alone. Edit: I thought this was Davis. I think Inoue can outbox Roach.
Wow.... Inuoe beats Tank on skills alone?...... as if Tank has no skill......lol. Inuoe can and will get punched by Davis. We've seen lesser punchers hit and drop Inuoe.... Let's stop acting like just because we saw one fighter do something to a puncher then automatically the next individual can do the same. Lamont is much bigger than Inoue. Stronger and longer.... Tank would not have the same issues fighting him that he did with Roach. I'm a fan of Inoue, but come on. He's not just going to run through everyone at 130/35. You have to adjust to the size, power, and skill of individuals who are NATURALLY much bigger than you with speed and quickness themselves.
I'm a big Inoue fan but moving up from 122 to 135 is a big jump it would mean he'd span 8 divisions at the top level. As great as Inoue is were talking about something only Pacquiao has done. We would have to see how well Inoue does at 126 and 130 before we even contemplate how he does against a top fighter at 130. Personally I think 130 maybe his limit.
