Khan already said that he is staying at 140.

I'm convinced there will be an immediate rematch, would be interesting to see if there was a rematch clause included, and if there isnt, and Bradley comes to the table for Lamont. However, I cant see a bigger payday for Lamont other than the Khan fight, so money talks.

If Khan doesnt get the rematch, I would expect him to go up to 147. I'll also go on record to say that Khan will win the rematch.

If I was Peterson, i'd have a nice fight or two before rematching Khan.

Khan can **** off thinking he is dictating to everyone when he does not warrant it, not now anyway.

He wouldnt have gave him a rematch if it was the other way around.

Rematch should be in Vegas. All Lamont has to do is work on his stamina and bang that body earlier.

You guys are jokers. If khan had won a split decision, Im pretty sure you would have a different tone now. Khan fave peterson a title fight in his own backyard. Ateast lamont should return the favour as he was given such a great opportunity..

If he runs away hes a coward, through and through just like you would label khan if he did the same

Much more dollars at stake for a Khan rematch. Not as many ppl interested in a Bradley rematch, unless Peterson is dumb or wants to spite Khan.

first of all, I thought Khan would handle Lamont easily, I havent seen the full fight yet, but I give Lamont his props, sounds like he dug deep and fought his heart out. I believe Khan overlooked him and payed the price.

But why wouldnt Lamont turn down the biggest payday of his whole career? He shouldnt try and hold out for a pacquiao/mayweather fight thats for sure, he could end up like Bradley.

I say have the rematch, in Vegas, think about how much beating Khan has raised his profile - and his career, what happens if he beats him again!!?

Im sad to say but the world revolves around money now-a-days, even a humble nice guy like Lamont has a price.

How many fans do Bradley, Ortiz & Berto have?

A rematch in the spring in the UK makes the most £/$ so it makes the most sense

Khan - Peterson very close fight could have gone either way both fighters deserved the win. Referee was the deciding factor to tip the scale.

Khan - Maidana Khan won first 9 rounds, lost 10 and and lost 11 but 12 was close. Khan was the clear winner.

If Peterson readily wants to give Khan a rematch so be it.

Wasn't this a voluntary defence for Khan? If so, it's likely that there is a rematch clause so Lamont is probably contractually obliged to rematch Khan immediately and you'd expect that most of the terms will have been agreed during negotiations for the first fight.

he should fight Khan. Who else will he fight and get that sort of money and credit. He will probably lose to Khan, but it is the biggest fight for him obviously.
