in all fairness Peterson should be given the opportunity to build after his recent sucess, he deserves an easier fight before jumping straight into a 50:50 battle again:good

He should do the rematch (and in the UK) for the following reasons:

    1) He can demand a higher purse than in this fight.

    2) If it's another close fight his stock will remain about where it is (minus the belts of course).

    3) He can gain a following in the UK (call it 'self marketing').

    4) It's the honorable thing to do. Khan came to his backyard, with a lot at stake. So, it's only fair to return the favor, considering the fight was so close. *

    * I don't expect Khan to be penalized for either his excessive pushing off or clinching/headlocking in the UK...something Lamont would need to be prepared for.

    Well said ,

and if a rematch is granted and I believe it's going to happen its going to be much worst for Kahn in the second fight he's going to take more chances and expose himself more therefore leading him to be KO by round 7.You can't change your style in a matter of months both fighters fight the way they fight and nothing will change same fight different place this will be Kahn last fight.

LMAOOO khan won the fight and you know it. He was help by the supidest referee in the ****ing world. Khan went to his backyard and fought him there. Now peterson can do the same and fight khan in his backyard.

    Don't be scared homie:lol:

Lamont will definately agree to the rematch and it will happen. You have to remember Peterson is a man not a ***** like Khan.

Fuk that! The UK is definitely out.
Too much risk for the usual UK style bad decision for Peterson with even more fouling by Khan.
The higher share doesn't justify it. They should meet somewhere neutral, like Canada.

nah he should have a rematch but you're wrong about most people having it for khan....there's several polls on here and on other forums and sites and every one of them i've seen has lamont ahead as far who people thought won.

it's more of case of people wanting khan to have dosage of his own medicine. he got away with blatantly ducking rematches and we all know that if he had been giving an SD he would not be giving lamont a rematch. i'd like to see them make amir squirm and fight a couple fights before the rematch......khans best options are prescott or maidana rematch and if lamont turns him down for an immediate rematch he'll have to face one of those which would be sweet justice.

Khan was fair enough to give Peterson the chance and didn't demand home advantage. Why not give him a rematch to shut him up? If you think Peterson wins the rematch then why not erase all doubt in a rematch?

should ortiz vs bertoe rematch also be cancelled?

Not surprisingly, many people are turned off with Khan's dirty tactics, whining, crying, and then dissing DC following the fight. He's a spoiled protected ***** and will want the rematch to take place at a venue that will allow him to use even more dirty tactics then he did on Saturday.
No one feels this way about Ortiz or Berto, so stop comparing apples to cucumbers. :yep
