I don't know much about Thil but reading Klompton's posts about him I've upgraded him from what I read years ago, when he was portrayed as a cheese champion. Hopefully he will post on this thread.
This could be tough for LaMotta. Thil was past his prime when he easily outpointed the closest thing to LaMotta (Apostoli) around during his time before getting cut. I rate Thil higher than Cerdan and some think Cerdan would have beaten LaMotta (I don't). I think Id favor Thil here. Very underrated guy.
