lamotta vs cerdan question...

    ive watched it closely and cerdan did seem to hurt his shoulder as he threw limited lefts during the fight but why didnt lamotta turn to southpaw as weve seen him do before to finish the job? was lamotta a better southpaw than orthodox? i believe the only reason he changed was because he couldnt get fights as a southpaw.

    please give some insight to this post as i really like lamotta and his style of fighting, absolutley none. lol thats a joke.he had a good swarmer style

    He probably didn't see it as necessary in that situation. Of his professional footage, the only time I recall Jake switching to southpaw was in the closing moments of the rematch win over Murphy. This would be a good question to ask him if you ran into him someplace.
