I will have to watch again. But I thought it was Merchant that loved Shane so much he couldn't hide it (well until Pac became his new love).
i think i noticed that too but i was pretty drunk at that point of the night. its no secret that Lampley gets very emotional at times. he was really pissed when they gave Casamayor the decision and he damn near lost it then.
Its just after the Shane interview. My friends didnt believe me, we had to go back and watch it again. Then, in a really awkward moment, they turn the cameras back to Kellerman and for a moment he glances at the camera with a priceless look that says "I cant fukcing believe this guy is about to cry".
He was once hosting the Jim Rome show and talking about Oscar's win over Mayorga, and said some really ridiculous **** like "the boy conquers the bully" and started to almost cry on air. :-lol:
I didn't know Jim was so emotional. The only time i have seen him almost break out in tears is when the Golota/Bowe riot broke out and he said that he has a daughter in there somewhere.
But not so emotional that he would stop the commentary and try to keep her from being killed in the riot. :good
Lampley is from SoCal, just like Mosley. Lampley -- as HBO shill -- knows the deal. He knows what happend, and why it happened. It's the business side of the sport. And for someone employed by HBO and who has 'sold' garbage like Taylor's 'greatness,' he's not in a position to say Shane got jobbed. So instead of saying it, he was a good 'company guy' and swallowed his feelings. Kellerman was much more visibly/openly not happy with the decision. But Lampley's feelings did show on his face. He knows Mosley is a great guy and fighter, and he felt bad about Shane getting jipped.
I like Lampley but he can be just as gay as Kellerman at times, I wonder who he likes more Merchant or Kellerman?
Lampley almost cried in the Barrera-Marquez countdown when talking about Barrera's win over Hamed. His eyes were watering up and he looked pretty choked up as well.
