He is very sound technically, and I was impressed with his performance, but he is not supremely athletically gifted. "Supreme" is a word only bestowed on the few, not the far between.

Sometimes hot prospects go bust, yes. Alvarez might, or he might not. It's still early in the game.

You're getting on Lampley for his statement, which technically by the dictionary definition was on point. That's all. :deal

Then as for the race thing, you randomly name three black prospects that you like that you'd "love to see him get in with", implying you want to see him get served by what you consider to be a real black athlete. It's not hard to read between the lines.

I'm also a huge fan of Lanard The Fightin' Fireman Lane, but he's still developing. His handlers would deserve a slap upside the head if they put him anywhere near Alvarez just yet. :good

It actually sounds like you're Implying. I named 3 of my 10 favorite prospects. Now if you wanna find the "conspiracy theory" in my thread...by all means, go right ahead. But you look really stupid in doing so. And for the record...is there something SO WRONG with wanting to see a TOP prospect fight other TOP prospect...No matter the color?

Would you be more comfortable if I mentioned Mike Alvarado or Luis Carlos Abregu? Would the thread have more integrity?

For what it's worth, Canelo is already fighting better fighters than Floyd did at that age!
