    Sam Peter holds the WBC Interim title. I guess Max was just assuming he would beat Maskaev.

    If he were to say that Wlad needs to beat "the Maskaev-Peter winner" I would agree.

    I think Max was referring to The Ring's championship policy.

    Wlad and Peter are the top 2 contenders according to The Ring's ratings.

    Max is the same guy whom on ESPN had a speech where he spit on the alphabet organizations.
