For Jim Lampley to suggest Pac should fight Mosley next and that he thinks Imagine how big Floyd vs. Pac would be if Pac were to beat Shane is pure floyd protecting at it's worst. The time for Pac vs. floyd is RIGHT NOW. It's prime time NOW. No more delays, no reason at all to make Pac fight Mosley first. Why? Lampley is a known shill for Floyd - probably because he fears being called a racist - and Mosley vs Pac could only possibly, not likely, but possibly ruin the biggest money fight of this era. They have to make it now. They didn't wait another two years to hype up Ali Fraizer when it was prime time in 1971. You make the fight when it's prime. For Lampley to be against Pac vs floyd at this moment shows that HBO is not unified in wathing to force floyd to fight Pac next. Because Lampley is only a mouthpiece for the decision makers at HBO. There are clearly VIPs at HBO who are NOT for making Pac vs. floyd now. Al Haymon has had a bad year with Arreola, Taylor getting destroyed. He can't aford to lose floyd as an asset as everyone pretty much knows floyd will get destroyed by Pac. And HBO always seems to obey Haymon for some MYSTERIOUS reason.
Lampley is a straight shill for HBO, no doubt about it. Can't believe he said this -- absolutely ridiculous. It's the "kill two birds with one stone" play for Lamps: He knows Floyd doesn't want to fight Shane, and now he may have doubts about Floyd beating Pac, so why not have Shane and Pac fight each other while protecting Floyd? Same strategy was used for SSM-Margo. One of them loses, then Floyd can make the excuse that the beaten fighter doesn't deserve a shot. Disgrace by Lampley. What a d*ck.
boxing fans should be very worried by this. hbo is going to try to protect floyd from the slaughter he would get from Pac. al haymon and ross greenburg will protect floyd.
Rewatch the first 3 rounds to in the fight he was all over Cotto's balls about Cotto landing the jab and not recognizing Pacquiao's power punches. He didnt stop his cheerleading for Cotto until the 2nd KD then it started to kick in to him of what was really going on in the fight.
Im not a Floyd fan by any stretch of the imagination but Pacman imo would not be able to slaughter pretty boy, i personally think Floyd would take Manny to school as much as it hurts me to admit this, bad style match up for Manny..
has anyone seen or can post an interview with manny after the fight. sky sports just ended without showing any interviews. did pac call anyone out?
