Was I the only one who wanted to punch him as he wept like a little girl? They were some of the best fights ever, but give me a break Lampley...
He does cry at pretty much everything. I don't think i have seen an HBO special where he hasn't cried.
He nearly got choked up when talking on the Countdown for Barrera-Marquez. It was when he was talking about Marco's masterful performance against Hamed. The dude sure is passionate about the sport. Hard to knock him for that, really.
He is totally a fan of the sport, no question. He just cries for the camera the same as any paid actor will do.
I disagree. I think his enthusiasm is manufactured...just as his emotion with all the crying. As you said above, "the same as any paid actor."
He definitely comes across as a fan. Who are we to say he isn't? There's not much doubt that like most involved in this sport he's a company man but that's just the way it is.
