Jim says he knows how old Loma is, but has no idea how old Rigo is.

How old do you think Jim thinks Rigo is?

The thing nobody else seems to question is that Rigo is still as fast as he is at his advanced age.....at a time when two of his compatriots have been popped in recent PED scandals (both Ortiz and Gamboa).

Just wait until he shows up on fight night with way more good weight on him than the "he can still make 118 crowd!!!" believes possible.

Rigo is in his 40s and so is Ortiz ancient butt.
Rigondeaux is going to have to become god level Super Saiyan to overcome all the **** that's in Lomachenkos favor.

Loma has youth, height, weight, promotional house favorite, and he can box his ass off.
If Rigondeaux wins I will certainly be in awe and will forever refer to him as the infallible Rigondeaux, Rigo the great, or The God King Rigondeaux.

He could be a couple years younger than listed too. I'm sure he was capable of taking gold at 16.

Look at his early fight and now. He has slowed down. And if you look at his amateur fights... a completely different fighter.
His legs have faded as has some of his handspeed, but the power is still there.

Actually a lot of sources agree (it's still a hypothesis, obviously) that Rigondeaux has subtracted a couple of years from his real age. Just to make himself more appealing to boxer promoters.

In Rigo's history class they just sat down and wrote what they were doing.

I always wonder about these guys. Ortiz and Rigo both look older as I am, but "officially" they're both younger.
Same can be said about Fury though. I mean, 28... really?!

But if indeed they really are older, than other questions come into play.

Anyway, Rigo seems to be up against it.

born 1980 boxed ar 2000 olympics age 20

why do people beleive he is 40 something

37 or 38 is very old for a lighter weight fighter historically and obviously no where near prime
