Lampley has a great voice for commentary, I like him a lot at times, but other times he's just too much with his bias, blindness, and being overdramatic. Maybe he's trying to create the "It happened!" moment during Foreman-Moorer. That wasn't forced, it was a simple 2 words yet it captured it perfectly and was a great moment. That's definitely one of my favorite Lampley moments. Another good one was Hopkins-Trinidad, "Ahh, huge right hand! Huge right hand!". It's simple, but effective. Other times, it's like he is just trying too hard. Like with his make-believe dialogue during fights. "Morales looks at Pacquiao as if to say, welcome to 130, WELCOME TO MY NEIGHBORHOOD!". Yeah I'm sure that was what was on El Terrible's mind at that moment. Or when Katsidis dropped Marquez and Lampley says "Katsidis is thinking of his deceased brother! He is fighting for 2, as he said!" Um, maybe....or maybe he was simply thinking "how do I finish him now?"
