Wilder's Suit has surpassed Haye's Toe now as the lamest, most pathetic excuse in heavyweight history.

He needs to take the rematch because he has no where else to go and it's a massive payday for an aging fighter.

He will need all the excuses to build the fight, admitting he is a bum and fury whooped him is hardly going to sell tickets.

He need to try and con the public into believing he wasn't 100%, he was injured or had an off night, concussed or whatever. He needs to plant that seed of doubt so then people might think ok maybe something was wrong maybe he can beat fury.

It's all about promotion these teams know what they are doing and what they have to say... It's all about money.

He re-enacted some miserable episode in Black History by taking an absolute whipping from a white man.

People might think this is mad but it could actually be a smart move from Wilder, albeit unintentionally.

Fury has shown he doesn’t/can’t train consistently over a long period of time. Which is why he seems to fight a decent challenge then take a few easy touches so he doesn’t need to train as hard. Then he inevitably looks bad against mediocre opposition before facing another decent fighter and training properly.

Fury may not have the motivation now to get straight back in the gym or go through back to back grueling training camps & could show up on the night with one of his lacklustre performances, which is the only slim chance Wilder will have at beating Fury. He shouldn’t let him have another soft touch where he can take a break/relax and then get his motivation back when the 3rd fight comes along. Fury won’t want to have to train properly for another 4/5 months and could end up half-assing it.

There's small chance he didn't have, at minimum, a concussion.

But he blamed the costume for weighing like 20kg for a few minutes? And said "Fury didn't hurt me at all"

There's quite a lot of video evidence to the contrary. His legs, his eyes etc.

I'd hope that he's not exercising this rematch clause before he has time to recover and regroup.

Otherwise there's the prospect of suffering unnecessary lasting damage.

That's where an above average IQ would help him. He would be able to rationally analyze what happened. But he has a sub 70 IQ and surrounds himself with guys of similar mental acumen. They come to the conclusion the only valid reasons for his loss were

    - rabbit punches (and not his atricous chin)
    - a 45 lbs constume (not his skinny legs)
    - his trainer throwing the towel (not his inability to weather the storm)

American Heavyweight prospect Deontay 'The Bronze Bomber' Wilder (28-0) was arrested on Saturday morning in Las Vegas and charged with domestic violence / strangulation.

police were called to a hotel on the Strip at 7:30am, where a 'tall man and a bruised woman' were taken into custody.

Wilder was reportedly in Las Vegas for the Floyd Mayweather fight. According to reports, the woman in question had a cut lip, swelling around the eyes and red marks on her neck suggesting she had been strangled.

.... she later blamed the bad showing in the fight on her costume, high heels and large weave.
