Or to be brutally frank about my motives, the best (p4p) that Wills took on v the best (p4p) that Dempsey took on.

    Who wins, how?

i am not a tunney fan but do believe he is one of the underated talents of all time....i actually find myself giving him the edge in mythical matchups the majority of the time. i do in this one also. i think tunney outboxes langford and wins a really tough fought decision

    I like Tunney on points.
If Langford couldnt do anything with Johnson then he certainly couldnt do anything with a true master boxer like Tunney.

Well Rob, Langford certainly hadn't peaked for his confrontation with Johnson, but whatever he had, Johnson certainly didn't want another peice of it when he came to the title.

I would be inclined to pick Langford. He had the mobility on his feet to counter tunneys and had a superb high pressure body attack.

He was also probably a better finisher than the version of Dempsey that Tunney fought.

Although I like Langford more I think Tunney would win via decision he was very accurate and if you watch his clips he does clinch a lot and I believe he would do this often against a smaller man like Langford and not let him find his rhythm. They probably split a series 2-1 to Tunney.
