How would the Boston tar baby fair at welterweight versus the fighters..Ive only seen highlights of sam at heavyweight..

    -Antonio margarito?
-Kid Gavilan,Could he ko the Cuban great?
-Julio Cesar Chavez, Could a young Sam handle the pressure?
    -Emille Griffith?
-Felix Trinidad? Not as durable as the others, but would still be a blast....

Anyway just another fantasy series..Anybodys prediction is always fun.

Off the top of my head, Chavez would get hurt and out-skilled in this fight pretty easily.

All of JCC's best performances were sub 140 and Langford smashed Heavies..

He would probably knock them all out, except maybe Gavilan if it goes 15 rounds as he couldn't stop Walcott at welter either. At the weight, I could see Gavilan, perhaps Griffith pulling it off.

Langford at welterweight was a prety green fighter although he was beating greats.

Joe Gans had been up drinking all night before he fought a rookie Langford and was lucky to finish the fight on his feet.

I always thought Langford was a natural super middleweight by today's standers. I may be wrong about this. Are you expecting him to drop to 147?

Langford fought from lightweight to heavyweight, so he wouldn´t need to drop to 147 but he competed there.

Margo has a fine chin but he also profits from the fact that every fighter he faces has to punch upwards which takes away some of the power. Also Langford knocked durable hws out and Margo hasn´t really a great defence, so I don´t think it´s exxagerating when I think Langford would knock Margo out.
