Hematoma...I've only seen them that big when the athlete involved took anti-inflammatories within the past few hours.

Wolak is a warrior through and through. He fought virtually half the fight with that **** on his eye and remained true to his style, being in DR's grill all the time, throwing like nothing happened. Congratz to Delvin, Smoger and the Doc for making this a good fight that ended when it should. Heart and effort is what PW is all about.

He could learn a thing or two both from Wolak and Rodriguez.

Anti-Inflammatories drammatically increase the likelihood of bruising and blood clots with impact related injuries. Usually, grotesque hematomas like Wolak's happen within 2 hours of taking large doses of NSAID's(Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, Asprin, etc., etc.). Trust me, I've experienced this...it's not fun.

That's two FNF's in a row with fighters experiening giant hemotomae! Tessitore cracked me up during the fight when he said something to the effect of 'Wolak just took a HARD left hook straight to the hemotoma and SHOOK IT OFF!" lol. This was the first time I heard Wolak speak and it kinda thru me for a loop. I expected to hear some broken english mixed with an Eastern European accent and what I got was an East coast accent with a Jersey Shore attitude! frackin hilarious!
