I don't think angulo could lay a glove on floyd, forget about knocking him down.

    Mayweather will never fight Lara.

Floyd never beat a legit 154 ponder in his life. Canelo was sucked down to 152 and could only fight in spurts.

Lara is the hardest match up for PBF 154 and down. The fight will never happen though.

I don't see who Mayweather has beaten at 154lbs to suggest he'd have an easy time with Lara. He had a very tough time with De La Hoya and Cotto and Lara has just exposed Canelo's best win.

As for Lara having a tough fight with Angulo and Molina these are both good fighters, Mayweather had a tough time with Judah.

People here are idiots! Molina grappled all night. Vanes was clearly outboxed and i have no friggen idea how anyone had that fight scored a draw especially the last round which one judge gave to vanes and another called a draw even though vanes didnt land a punch:patsch As far has angulo goes first lara was told he could not rehydrate to more than 165 the night of the fight then angulo walks in a 175 and the ring was small. both facts look it up. yet with those two huge advantages lara stops angulo and wins the fight. that one fight seems to be a source of criticism by *****s yet to me is his most impressive win and got me sold on lara. lara has been repeatedly robbed and his own promotor (shaefer) doesnt really support him and keeps canelo away from lara.
I think lara would ko floyd if they fought. if not a ko he would atleast drop floyd at some point. Thats a bold claim and ive never said something that difinitive about floyd but i stand by it. the only way lara gets even a chance at floyd is if he fights and beats canelo convincingly. if he does that then everyone will no who he is and then he can call floyd out. but then we run into the problem that floyd most likely will duck the fight by saying he doesnt fight at 154 anymore which is an excuse hes already throwing around because he sees lara on the horizon.

I'm sorry but who exactly has Mayweather fought that compares to Lara? nobody at any weight.

I'm not writing Mayweather off but Lara would be the best guy he's fought.

To be honest when you look at Mayweather's last 5 wins he always just seems to pick guys after they have had one half decent win, they're riding on the crest of a wave when it comes to hype in reality aren't that good.

Guerrero, Ortiz, Cotto, Canelo do you seriously see any of these guys giving Lara any problems? because I don't and there's a strong argument to say none of these are top 5 in their divisions.

I'm curious to see if Canelo would fight Lara and get beaten, would Floyd take Lara @ 154/152 lbs ?? :think

Judah got shut down from round 4 on.....not the same with Molina and Angulo

Cotto 4 rounds Oscar 4 rounds....

Lara will get the same treatment....i'd give him 4 rounds

He always has an excuse to avoid the toughest fights. I think the reason is he knows unlike other guys like Pacquiao and De La Hoya that if he did lose, he is so boring to watch that very few would buy his PPV. Anyway Lara, Pacquiao or Bradley should be the guys Mayweather is looking at fighting but his fans will say "I think Mayweather deserves a few easy fights after Canelo" even though they say he's the greatest fighter of all time.
