Believe me I am a big Alvarez critic but a the same time will give him the utmost respect he deserves when he beats a worthy contender. I feel he can beat Lara and this guy has proven he's good enough to stop fighting has beens and blown up WW's. Get in with true challengers and shut up your doubters. BTW, I don't believe he's scared of anyone if he's begging for a Mayweather fight. Just think his team have been disrespecting him by selecting opposition he proved he's wasting his skills on but to his and their credit they did try for Kirkland and Williams but fights unfortunately fell through.

As far as PPV, get Cotto as thats the only PPV worthy fight for Alvarez if they want PPV that bad.

Josecito couldn't even make 147, he will be way too small at 154.

But as far as the others you mentioned, yeah all good comp. :good

What? When? Cotto went down in round 2 and then the fight got waved of in round 9. Canelo got rocked but fought out of trouble never going down or takling a knee.
    Get it right man.

You could probably even add someone like Gabriel Rosado to that list IMO.

Alvarez took a good shot from Jose Cotto, and got shook, but never went down nor received a standing 8 or anthing like that. He fought out of trouble without running or excessive clinching and holding.

Poor Lara, he is doing everything possible to get Canelo in the ring with no real effect. I don't know but Canelo ( or perhaps his people ) are not following up with the old Mexican tradition of " fighting anyone ". Seems that they are really afraid of Lara.

I can really see Lara's huge amateur experience, natural athleticism and age making a big difference if a fight with Canelo were to take place. Don't know but being 21 years old with hardly no amateur experience spells " trouble " against a super experienced fighter like Lara.

People always seem to leave the amateur experience behind but let's remember that it's also a very important factor!

Worthless *** that adds nothing but made up ****. Canelo looked dizzy for half a second, was caught by surprise by cotto. Then Canelo stopped ****ing around and Tko'd his ass.

    I agree mi hermano.

There's no point in Canelo having a World Belt and not fighting the best. If he is really serious at being the best then he has to fight the best and that includes Lara.

They are clearly avoiding Lara flat out. They have mentioned all other prospects except Lara!

    Blessings

That's what I'm saying, once you are champ you got to take on all the top dogs.

If you want to use the excuse of well of he's only 21 and has not fully developed yet...then he should of stayed a contender/prospect.
