Lara should just save it. No way GBP is putting Canelo in there with him right now.

Make that his second biggest fan on this forum. This fight is not going to happen until late next year if ever. The crazy thing is, as soon as Chavez Jr. moves up, Canelo will too. That is not to say that Lara won't follow him. Lets be patient fellows. Both men still have to shut a few critics up before GBP will allow this showdown.

Cotto would be a bigger name. Lara is not very popular and his style
might be all wrong for a young Canelo.

Correction Kid Cubano. Lara fought Hearns at a catchweight of 157. I had the pleasure of being there. I have the fight recorded on my phone. I told my wife dont look off, this wont be long. You're right though, he couldn't get an opponent at 154.

    QFT.

Canelo needs to show he is a true champion and superstar. The cherry-picking isn't working out this time around for whatever reason. Call it karma, call it whatever you like, but JMP is right, Saul needs to step up and fight a true contender.

you are right, they met at 157, Hearns usually fights at 160.( lost to felix sturm)
nobody was available at 154, not even Molina.
are you from Miami? cuban? or just a boxing fan who can appreciate skills?

I'm not Cuban, and I'm not from Miami. I just really appreciate very skillful boxers, and Erislandy is definitely that. The Sweet Science is truly a fistic art to me.

lara is way to dangerous for the popular and marketable canelo. lara is the darkhorse in and around that weight. id take lara over cotto right now. hes the biggest threat out there. not only to canelo but to everyone.

Starting to think Lara might actually be the most overrated boxer in ESB.
