https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODJwIraAtVM PERSONALLY i feel this fight is the a must unless canelo moves up to 160. lara is the only other guy people might mention to be able to trouble canelo
yea,i made thread already, can you embed the video i linked in this thread? i cant embed for some reason http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=501077
I say that's a 50/50 fight. Canelo has all the tools to make it a competitive fight. Definitely is the best match to make at 154 lbs. I'd imagine the oddsmakers would make this a pick 'em type of fight.
^@Programer- are you having a competition with BOxing_master for the shittiest poster on ESB? Because right now you guys are neck and neck. Just keep acting like you have OCD and repeat the same things over and over, I have faith you can achieve your goal.
im guessing it would be at 154 i dont think lara would go to 160 for a fight.. a catchweight in the middle may be necessary but i dont think canelo said he has plans to move to 160.. so most likely 154
Lara obviously struggled with Molina but he's looked great in every fight since...including Angulo, knockdowns aside. I think he'll have his way with Canelo and I'm pretty sure Alvarez and his team are aware of this. For this reason, I don't expect this fight to be made any time soon.
He didn't look great against Angulo. He went life and death in that fight, and it's somewhat of a red flag considering Perro is a slow, flat-footed fighter. Canelo has already been in the ring with Floyd, someone who's much slicker than Lara and pretty much better than Erislandy in every department. I think that experience in the ring can only help Alvarez from this point on in his career. If he emulates the way he fought last night, I think Canelo can give Lara many problems. He just has to avoid the pitfall of trying to have a chess match with Lara and attempting to outbox him. He tried that with Floyd, and won 2 rounds at most in a very embarassing, lopsided decision.
