Lara calls out GGG after IBF orders him to face Wade

Why? The number one fighter of the division doesn't have an opponent.

That was me, yes. GGG has mandatory obligations with IBF. That's why he cannot fight Lara at the moment. Meanwhile if Lara is serious about moving up, beating a top 10 middleweight would certainly help his case in challenging GGG late into the year. That's what I said.

ggg doesn't need it to gain the same acclaim at 160...it isn't going to make or break canelos decision to fight him....canelo aint worried bout unifying 160 .....so that ibf belt is useless

Team Golovkin spew **** out of their mouths when it comes to any opponent except Ward and Lara. With those two, G fans just line up the excuses on why those fights cant be made.

The thread starter here laughs at Lara and claims he's not a draw, that Golovkin calls the shots, blah blah blah..........
......but then he finds it offensive that the "Real Draw" Canelo Alvarez calls the shots vs Golovkin.
Its fine for Golovkin to call the shots and make demands, but Canelo is a ducking chicken when he calls the shots.

 

im not saying he should just vacate...but he could see if theyd let him do a voluntary with lara or something.....if not he should weigh his options

he doesn't need that belt...he wants canelo and the wbc belt...that's the real goal here...not unifying...the real goal is to that title Sergio had.....the ibf belt isn't needed .....ward didn't need it at 168....ggg doesn't need it

To make boxing fans and casuals alike demand a fight, you chose common opponents to the fighter you want to fight.
There are two out there that gave Canelo tough fights. Lara and Trout. You can add Cotto into the mix on his name value.

What Golovkin should be doing is targeting any of those three fighters.
Lara he doesn't have to target, he's right there now calling him out.
What better than Golovkin to instruct his promoter to make the fight and then dispose of him in a much easier fashion than Canelo did.

If Golovkin were to manhandle Lara as he's done his most recent opponents, he can make a statement that goes, "don't come near me Ginger head, or you'll get it worse."
That in itself is provoking Canelo to take him on and making the fans want it all the more.

.......but instead, he's hiding behind fighthing mandatories that doesn't further his recognition and popularity with the fans who buy the PPV.

Its common knowledge that Lara has been calling out G for awhile now.
In fact, all you G fans have been lining up the excuses all this time on why a Lara fight cant be made and you guys are fine with it. You prefer not to have G go to the next level and actually face Lara who actually is a terrific boxer.

We all know what you G fans are really thinking, "oh no, preferably GGG should avoid that type style for at least the moment."

ive said this many times when it comes to hopkins...if hopkins stopped fighting after his mw reign wed probably seldom talk about him today

the lineal title or the wbc title should be important to ggg...the ibf shouldnt be...hes recognized as the top mw anyway.....that ibf belt is useless...it does nothing to entice canelo into a fight....NOTHING.....

if its his goal to have all 4 belts hes an idiot...his goal should be adding good fighters/names to his resume....hes already achieved being the top guy in the division and p4p status....thats all that really matters

 

Ggg should fight Lara theres a bit of interest and a far better fight than wade. Il honestly lose a bit of respect for ggg if he just ignores Lara
