Just like your dumbass picked Canelo to beat him?:-( It will neverr end. PBF beats Canelo he must now beat Lara who will KO him. He beats Lara he then must fight GGG in order to face a real threat. He beats GGG he must then fight Ward at 168 no catchweight or he's a coward. It will never end with haters like you. Just admit PBF is the best and move on, you'll be able to sleep at night if you do.

Yep Lara is the new boggeyman now since Canelo has been schooled.

I don't know Lara is the man to beat Floyd, but sure he would win more rounds than Canelo if he fights Floyd. :)

If someone is going to win FM in a stick&move fight is not a flat feet/low stamina young mexican... should be a fast and mobile guy with skills and some pop. I don't know a lot more options in 140-154.

Lara was troubled by Angulo's relentless pressure, granite chin and workrate. Floyd could never duplicate what Angulo did in that fight, he'd never take 5 punches in order to land one. In the end Lara still stopped Angulo and showed great heart and recovery skills in that match

Lara hasn't lost, what are you talking about. The Williams fight was a highway robbery

Lara will get there eventually, he'll come knocking on Floyd's door sooner or later because he's one of the best in the division along with Canelo. If Floyd is so superior then let him step up and face a real threat for a change, Lara is the only real challenge left unless Floyd starts taking on middleweights, and we know thats not gonna happen

When was the last time Floyd fought someone with Lara's attributes? oh yeah. Never. Go figure why

I never picked Canelo to win you ***** dickrider. I said before the fight was announced that Canelo wasn't ready yet, Floyd's ***** catchweight move just sealed the deal for me. Tbh, Canelo did better than I expected.

but now that ginger is out of the picture, the only one who can challenge him for those 154 belts and pose a real threat is Lara. but pretty sure Floyd would prefer to vacate all the belts before stepping into the ring with someone who is a real challenge

and you're wrong, unlike some haters, im not asking Floyd to move up and fight MWs or SMWs (but if he's really serious about becoming the GOAT, he would do it, though)

All I'm asking is that he fights the real challenges in the divisions he's a champion in, instead of ****ing no hopers like Guerrero. And right now, the main challenge is Lara, and (if he comes back looking impressive) a certain pinoy midget he fears more than cancer

^@ lopetego---I agree that I thought he beat a past his prime Paul WIlliams, but he also has a VERY questionable draw against Carlos freaking MOlina and another draw recently with Vanes (just 2 fights ago.)

And the pendulum had swung in the fight with ANgulo, who was up by 3 points on 1 judges scorecard and down by only 1 point in the 2 other judges scorecards when the fight was stopped because it looked like his eyebrow was giving birth to an alien. Angulo hurt Lara many times in that fight and it looked like he was on his way to a victory. He had all the momentum in the latter rounds, that can't be argued.

Lara's last 2 fights with Vanes and Angulo firmly have me believing he's not the same fighter he was just a few fights ago. That Angulo fight was a WAR and he hasn't fought since than.

He was an excellent amateur, his pedigree can't be denied. But Floyd is on a whole different level when it comes to handpeed, footspeed, punching accuracy, counterpunching and obviously defense. I'm hard pressed to figure out what exactly Lara would bring to the ring that he'd be better at than Floyd. Easy, easy UD, not even close man.

Lara wouldn't take more than 3 rounds off of Floyd, just like how most (including myself) predicted Canelo wouldn't.

It'd be a moral victory if he took 4 rounds off him. Floyd's simply a different caliber of fighter.

Did you know that Lara broke his left hand against Vanes and still was coming strong from the 5 on? He was hurting vanes and couldn't touch him, the scores was a joke just like the ross 114-114, molina hug his way to a draw and only a sick Lara couldn't follow up after he hurt him in the 8 or 9 round, the molina fight was almost cancel because Lara had a tooth infection three days prior to the fight, and remember that his trainer was with Rigondeaux for his fight against casey, the Angulo fight was a setup, he could not go up more than 10 pounds while Angulo balloned to 175, they fought in a phone booth and we know who benefit from that, a slow brawler with granite chin and a murderous punch, did he have a chance against Fraud? Of course he does, do I think he will win? No

If they fought, I'd expect Mayweather to win a 9-3 or 10-2 type decision.

Not a bad thing, the only intrigue in Floyd fights to me is if the opponent can get the moral victory of winning 4 rounds.
