He said when he first walked in the gym and mayweather looked at him he said mayweather was saying that lara was just a kid and he was going against a lion. Once i got in the ring it was all business and i almost ko'd him. they stopped the fight in round 7. Even after that bout he was supposed to come for more sparring sessions but the hatton camp requested for him not to come back because he was hitting "too hard" lara also stated that as far as he was aware he was just hitting him pretty average and wasnt trying to harm hatton, he was basically sparring the same way he always does. He said he never really felt any pressure from hatton during the session"

Hattons' team stopped the sparring session at round seven because Hatton was taking too much damage. And they sparred another time but it didn't last long because Lara got fired because they said he was hitting too hard. Lara says he didn't understand what they meant because he was hitting as he always did in sparring, not that hard.

After that he says he didn't understand how Hatton went that far (in his pro career), that he wasn't all that like he thought before sparring with him. And then they asked him if he expected the PacMan outcome and he said "totally", after sparring him he didn't expect big things from him.

Now of course, Lara is naturally bigger than Hatton that's a fact. However, I think we should take his word as the truth. Lara is a humble dude, he never talks shiet like that.

 

This dude also says that he doesnt know any of the fighters form his division (including the top ones) and never even watches tape , when he steps on the ring that's the first time he ever sees them.
