Hatton should have retired after the Floyd fight, too many wars.

Still not a bad resume ... Kostya, castillo, collazo, mallignagi, urango, phillips. Titles at two weights.

Can't say thats suprising looking at the size difference... wtf was he even doing as a sparring partner for 'I get hit man' hatton.. Its stupidity in its prime and an idea I bet came from Mayweather Snr over some hot wings..

Either way i'm looking forward to seeing more of Lara.

Not surprise. Never considered Ricky Hatton to be anything else but a B class fighter who fought a few people at the right time (KT, for example)

I meant using Lara to prepare Hatton for Pac.

I can't understand what they were playing at.

I seems hattons punch resistance had eroded so much that even putting him in with decent sparring partners was a wrong decision.I dont think mayweather is personally to blame,he got a brawler and tried to turn him into a boxer and couldnt.just look at the last sparring session on 24/7 episode 4 with rogers guy cornelius.both mayweather and beard were shouting instructions at hatton as to what he should do in the ring.come fight week, trainers shouldnt have to do that.ricky just seemed clueless.

Hatton really developed that British Chin late in his career. It is a shame but the guy just can't take a punch anymore.

I've always hated all the Hatton hype!

I don't know what to make of this though? If it is, then Hatton is a fraud.... I think he's a fool for fighting Manny like that anyway, but what can you do?

Lara vs. Rashad Holloway. Battle of sparring partners. I think Rashad beats Lara.
Pacquiao gave Rashad who is also a light middle - middle weight a fight. I think at this stage Rashad is better than Lara too. Shows how much better Manny is than Hatton.

Steve Bunce just said Lara beat Hatton all over the ring for 5 rounds and they never called him back.

Lara also said that he wasn't even hitting Hatton hard.....
