He won't fight you because you are not a draw commensurate with the risk you pose, because a majority of fans think you're boring and it has become a daily struggle for those of us who defend you & Rigondeaux and other practitioners of the Cuban style.

Like, stopping Mr. Sympatikus is wonderful and everything and diehards will give you plenty of credit for being the first to do it...but that doesn't erase the stigma of being a "runner" that you brought on yourself with the minimalist Canelo performance. I thought you won that, but you honestly could have done more if your longterm goal was setting up interest for a big Golovkin payday.

If you are talking about ethnicity, then Golovkin is not a Kazakh at all. He is half Russian, half Korean.

That might be your take, but others are saying he needs to do this and that, beat some scrubs at 160, like that would prove anything. What you said is reasonable, and necessary, but when others say Lara should accomplish a set of tasks to "earn" a fight with GGG, then it smacks of bias. As if they'd be happy with a SMW saying GGG needs to jump thru hoops to earn a fight at 168. Guys move up and down all the time.

Golovkin and Sanchez are clearly afraid of Lara.
Sanchez probably telling Little g to "stay away from that crazy Cuban", in his Bob Arum voice.

They can run but they can't hide because Lara is acting like a fighter and making the moves to aggressively pursue the fleeing prey.I can't wait to see if Golovkin takes Lara's straight left as well as he took Monroe's.

Because nobody wants to give a hand out to someone with 10 fans. Someone who doesn't even care about entertaining those 10 fans and will stink the joint out no less.

    Lara is simply irrelevant.

The man should have been in there with Mayweather but every time he was given a chance to shine he blew it.

Gets his head knocked off in about 4 rounds against GGG.

Lara trying to navigate his way to the final bell against Golovkin would be about 100 times as hazardous and harrowing for him as his journey across the Yucatan Channel from Cuba to Mexico was when he defected. Poor guy spent the entire duration of his fight against Canelo backpedaling around the ring in mortal fear of getting clipped by the wind of one of his little love taps. Even ''Running Man'' Floyd wasn't that afeared of Ginger, whereas Lara was acting like he was being pursued by a prime Mike Tyson :rofl

I'm scanning through Canelo's record trying to find an opponent who was as petrified of his 'power' as Lara was.

Can anyone think of one who was? Work your way down and see if you can find one

I rate Lara as the best 154lb fighter in the world, and I class Canelo and Cotto as light middleweights as their stupid catch weight is only 1lb above. I would rather see him stay there and prove it, against the likes of Andrade, the Charlo's and potentially a rematch with Canelo.
