Lara want to be taken seriously? Move up to 160, get a few wins and become a mandatory challenger. As of this moment, the fight is impossible to make because of his association with Haymon.

If he really wants to fight, he need to stop flapping his gums and start fighting in GGG's division.

 

How is he half Korean, when his mother is half Korean? His grandfather is the only full blooded Korean in his family.

 

Has GGG or his camp said that the networks and promoters are preventing this fight?

Appreciate the background info. But, it does not really answer the question. If there was interest on Golovkin's side I don't doubt the fight could be made. GGG may be interested in unifying, but, Canelo has the belt and is not budging. So, unless he is moving down or waiting for Canelo to be stripped there is an opportunity for a stay busy fight(s).

 

C'mon if Lara was fading against Canelo's power and pressure in the second half of the fight, how is he going tod o against Golovkin? I can see him dominating the first 2-3 rounds, but once GGG gets to his body and Lara gets scared of his power, he's either getting ko-d or losing the last half decisively.

You are alone regarding the Canelo fight I think he learned a lesson to never allow a Mexican judge (Levy Martinez) in any fight, Lara's got the tools and he's the only top dog barking on GGG with not catch weight issue.

 

So your gonna hide behind mandatory to take on lesser quality fighters, I'm pretty sure your one of the people who said Lara beat Canelo.
Surely you have enough standards to hope your fighter takes on who you believe to be the winner.

 

Fighting mandatories is what is required to keep the belts, and the belts is what Golovkin wants. Fighting mandatories is what real champions do versus divas cherry picking who they prefer.

Yes, I think Lara defeated Canelo, but it was at 154 and does not give him preference over mandatory defenses. If Lara really wanted GGG, then the shortest way would be beating Jacobs/Quillin winner and becoming WBA mandatory.

 

That is so ridiculous. Lara would be running all the time hoping to last 12 rounds. Golovkin's footwork is much better than Canelo's and he punches harder, so Lara's hopes will fail this time.

 

Unfortunately for the fans, he is just barking without making required steps to make that fight.
