And this means what exactly? Take other sports for example; the top teams might struggle with one of the poorer teams from time to time. Are elite teams (fighters) always supposed to blowout the lower ranked teams (fighters)?

Fact is he won. Not my opinion, but Lara could struggle with Angulo in the late rounds then move on to fight Golovkin as dominate through 12.

ggg struggled with kassim ouma...ggg struggled with martin murray. even willie monroe had his moments against ggg...based on those performances, lara will box the beejeezus outta ggg.

 

lara has fought some of the top pfp fighters around including canelo, trout and williams. ggg beat "great" fighters like danny geale (an easy cotto ko victim), rubio (who the less talented of the dirrell brothers used as a punching bag) and murray (who went 11 rounds)....but it's LARA who has to prove himself? Lara may or may not also want to fight quillen and jacobs...but he don't NEED to fight them to "deserve" a shot at ggg...ggg is just the most chickenschit fighter around trying to duck top fighters while complaining about how everybody ducks him.
